Baker Mallett attend the Annual UKREiiF event at The Royal Armouries Exhibition Hall, Leeds.
UKREiiF has done it again - another year of bringing together world-class leaders to talk sustainable investment in real estate and infrastructure. This event isn't just a meeting - it's a catalyst for change, promoting social value and equality, and supporting government initiatives like "Build Back Better" and "Levelling Up".
The atmosphere was buzzing with industry leaders, public sector reps, government officials, investors, funders, developers and housebuilders, all on an equal footing. The event was jam-packed with panel discussions, informative sessions, fringe events and networking opportunities.
The Royal Armouries Exhibition Hall was filled to the brim with 12,000 delegates, a testament to the importance and popularity of this event.
For us at Baker Mallett, it was a chance to connect with our clients and hear their exciting plans for transforming their Boroughs. Our very own Zoe Brooke had the chance to chat with several clients about their future plans and how we might contribute.
Zoe's highlight was a session on the future of estate renewal, featuring keynote speakers Yvonne Westhead Fyles from Livv Housing Group, Homes England and Salford City Council Mayor, Paul Dennett.
And now, as we say goodbye to the Armouries for another year, we're already recharging and looking forward to doing it all again in 2025. See you there!
David Proctor of Wigan Council shared his priorities for Wigan and gave us a positive insight into what's in the pipeline for the area.
We got an exclusive insight from our client John Laverick at Warrington & Co.
Nathan Spencer, organiser of UKREiiF shared an update with us of how the event was going.
