Site Risk Assessments ⋆
Hi Everyone.
When attending a site, you must complete the latest revision of our risk assessment form and have it reviewed by a partner, a senior surveyor, or Adam Donnelly prior to your visit.
No staff member is permitted to attend a site without the risk assessment being reviewed by a senior member of staff and saved in the job folder.
It is essential that the signed-off risk assessment is saved within the job folder, as this will be checked during quality assurance spot checks on project folders.
You can find the risk assessment template on the Information page of The Wire. It has been pre-populated for your convenience, however, it is your responsibility to review and amend the risks and measures as needed to ensure they accurately reflect the proposed works you are undertaking including any stated durations. If you require assistance with completing the form, please contact Adam Donnelly directly.
Important!
This is a mandatory health and safety requirement for all staff.
It ensures you are fully aware of all forseeable risks when attending site(s).
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do I need to complete a risk assessment every time I attend the same site?
If you are visiting the same site (e.g., a project site), you can complete an overarching risk assessment that covers the entire duration of the project. However, you must regularly review and update the risk assessment if there are any changes to onsite risks (e.g., transitioning from a client-occupied site to a live construction site).
2. Do I need to complete a separate risk assessment for each site if I am attending multiple sites?
If you are visiting multiple sites, you can list all the sites on a single form. Please ensure you are aware of the nearest A&E department for each site. If the sites are close to one another, the same A&E department may apply. If you have any questions or suggestions for improving the templates or processes, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We value your input and strive to refine our processes to ensure everyone is working safely and effectively.
Adam.
