Local Impact and Commitment
In July 2025, Baker Mallett supported long term beneficiary, Norfox Charity ,to sponsor the welcome drinks and provide professional event photography for a western-themed summer event.
The bespoke beverages and high-quality imagery created a fully immersive experience, delighting guests and sustaining the evening’s momentum. Our contributions helped to raise £2,500 for Salford Children’s Holiday Camp, an organisation that enables disadvantaged children to access a free break by the sea.
Founded in 1926 on an endowment of land along the North Wales coast at Prestatyn, Denbighshire, the camp—affectionately known as “The Jam Butty Camp”—was established to offer Salford’s poorest children respite from industrial city life. For nearly a century, it has provided seaside breaks, creative workshops, and team-building activities to thousands of young people, continually fulfilling its mission to counter poverty’s effects through rest, recreation, and personal development.
Salford Children’s Holiday Camp depends on community support to deliver week-long seaside breaks and educational workshops for these young people. Without additional funding, dozens of children would miss out on these life-enriching summer programmes.
By weaving together thoughtfully themed hospitality and compelling visual storytelling, we created a cohesive narrative that deepened emotional connections and inspired generous giving.
Salford Children’s Holiday Camp has evolved over the years to meet growing demand. Recently refurbished, the site can accommodate up to 60 children plus accompanying staff, with ample grounds for traditional camping. A newly added two-bedroom self-catering flatlet—complete with kitchen, living area, wetroom, and full disabled access—now welcomes vulnerable families of up to six. These enhanced facilities position the camp for greater promotion, exposure, and community use.
