Maintenance

Baker Mallett has completed the Quantity Surveying function for maintenance contracts for over thirty five years, mainly acting for Government Departments in the preparation of and maintaining Measured Term Contracts based upon the use of schedules of rates.  There is plentiful experience in this field which covers all aspects of construction work including engineering services.

Additionally, Baker Mallett has been employed by some of the newly independent Government Executive Agencies to develop and maintain their maintenance contracts which has included the adaptation of Government Forms of Contract to suit the specific requirements of the client concerned.

Baker Mallett has also prepared tender and contract documentation for providers of social housing such as AIMOS and Housing Associations for repair and maintenance, void and decent housing programme contracts.  Many of these have been based on the newer partnering forms of contract such as TPC 2005.
