Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre is a Sport England facility managed by Serco Leisure Ltd.
The Main House, which had been previously used by many sporting organisations as offices, is a Grade II* listed building. To create revenue for the site, the brief was to extensively refurbish and sympathetically restore, to create 29 bespoke bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, including two bridal suites.
A completely new Mechanical and Electrical system was provided in line with current specifications and standards with energy saving heating and lighting and particularly challenging was the installation of 2nr lifts within the wood panelled period Reception Area.
The project was refurbished and fitted out in an 18 month period including providing a 3 month period for the client direct Subcontractors.
