Baker Mallett was appointed as Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and CDM Coordinators by HMRC to continue its involvement with the 3,000m2 West Cumbria House, Office Development at Workington.
Baker Mallett is involved with the in the £2 million "fit out" contract to provide a Contact Centre for HMRC which will handle tax and self assessment queries with accommodation for at least 360 employees.
The requirement was to provide operational office space and associated support rooms, including fully operational communications room and relevant facilities within a secure office space for 260 staff by December 2008. The Project ran for 30 weeks.
