New Cremators and Abatement Equipment
Baker Mallett was appointed to undertake CDM Co-ordinator Services for Middlesbrough Council for the replacement of 3 Nr. Cremators and abatement equipment at Teesside Crematorium.
The project involved removal of the existing cremators and replacement of 3 Nr. Cremators and abatement equipment along with all the associated building, civil engineering and services works associated with the installation of the cremators. The crematorium remained operational throughout the project.
Baker Mallett was involved in co-ordination meetings on a regular basis with the crematorium staff, the enabling contractor, the Cremator installers and the design team. The Project commenced in September 2010 and was completed in August 2011. Discipline: CDM Co-ordinator Project Value: £1,500,000 Form of Contract: JCT Intermediate and MF1.
