Metro's Sports Club Redevelopment
Baker Mallett was appointed by the members of Metro's Sports Club as Project Managers and Employer’s Agent in order to redevelopment the existing sports club with a purpose built club with bowling pavilion and a re-vamped bowling green.
Baker Mallett assisted in the finalisation of the deal, produced the Contract documentation and provided support to the club throughout the transition from old to new. This involved a great deal of complex planning to keep the old club in use whilst the new club was being built.
Phase one was completed in November 2008 which saw the old club part demolished to provide the space for the construction of the new club. Phase 2 commenced at the end of 2008 which involved the demolition of the existing club to provide the new car parking facilities, all of which were completed by 2009.
