Construction of Bioethanol Plant
Baker Mallett was appointed the role of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Manager on this £240 million renewable fuels project in Teesside.
Simon Carves Ltd, Member of the Punj Lloyd Group has been engaged by The Ensus Group to design and construct one of the world’s largest bioethanol production facilities. The plant will be the first to be built in the UK and marks a major step for the UK in meeting it’s EU biofuel obligations.
The facility has been built at Wilton International site in Teesside, an integrated petrochemical complex in the North East of England.
The project commenced in December 2007 and construction was completed in March 2010.
