COMMENDATION FOR ST ANDREW'S CHURCH IN BENTON, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
St Andrew's church in Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne has been commended by the Hadrian Awards 2009 for a project which dealt in practicalities.
"It was a Rubik's cube of a project which could only be achieved with 3 dimensional understanding of potential and dexterity of intervention. The array of rooms for creches, meetings and other activities is extraordinary."
