Baker Mallett were appointed by The Knoll Care Partnership to provide Contract Administrator, Quantity Surveying and Principal Designer services for their new 40 bed care home in Urmston, Greater Manchester.
The project involved the construction of a three storey, dementia friendly care home.
The ground and first floor each accommodate 20 residents with communal facilities. The second floor is for employees containing office, kitchen, laundry and meeting rooms.
The care home has lounge, dining and kitchen facilities on the ground and first floors for residents. There is also an activity room, treatment room, hair salon along with a bar area and games room.
