BAKER MALLETT CELEBRATE 50 YEARS IN THE TEES VALLEY

Baker Mallett, Chartered Quantity Surveying Practice founded in 1919 celebrates 50 years of having an office in the Tees Valley. On Monday 9th December 1957 Baker Mallett opened its first office in the North of England on Albert Road in Middlesbrough with Mr Eric Hale as its Managing Partner and 2 other staff dealing in Traditional Quantity Surveying Services.
In the early days Baker Mallett carried out various Quantity Surveying Commissions from the Tees Valley office for local companies, including the extension to Sparks Daylight Bakery - this iconic listed building was initially built in the 1930's and is still standing today; Billingham Forum a theatre and sports centre and also the former laboratories for British Titan Products now Huntsman Tioxide.
Fifty years later Baker Mallett now employ over 35 staff in the Tees Valley area and in 2005 moved into its new purpose built offices at Preston Farm in Stockton on Tees from which they provide services to North East clients and National and Multinational Companies.
Over the last 50 years Baker Mallett has provided services in and around the Tees Valley for a variety of industry sectors including; Engineering, Housing, Defence, Education, Healthcare, Arts and Culture and renewable fuels all of which have made a significant contribution to the expansion and continued success of the Tees Valley office.
Baker Mallett Stockton together with its other seven Nationwide offices look forward to continued expansion and the further development of the services offered to the Construction Industry which include; Quantity Surveying, Engineering services, Project Management, CDM Coordinator, Legal services, Capital Allowances and Recovery and Insolvency.
